Employee Spotlight: Tyler French

Employee Spotlight: Tyler French

This month, we spotlight Tyler French, our Lead Estimator here at TEC Integration. He has been with us for almost 4 years and his role is to submit bids to EC’s and GC’s for projects and build systems ranging from basic cabling to high-end Access Control, Surveillance, and Audio Visual. The part that he likes the most about his job is that he can help ensure issues that he experienced in the field can be minimized. He also enjoys the fact that companies TEC builds relationships with over the years continue to reach out and contact them for support or work.

Prior to joining TEC, Tyler was a merchandiser and a BCR for Pepsi. He was also the Assistant Baseball Coach for Golden High School’s Varsity team. While working for Pepsi, he was able to build a ton of different displays around Denver such as NFL shields for the Superbowl or American Flag displays for the 4th of July.

Tyler was originally born in Honolulu, Hawaii but was raised in Lakewood, Colorado. Growing up, he always wanted to play in the MLB. Tyler is happiest when he is out in the middle of nowhere camping with no cell service. He enjoys the ability to wake up and go for a hike or go fishing and just enjoy the peace and quiet without any distractions. In fact, if he could do anything in the world, he would be on the Bass Fishing pro tour and get to fish all over the world. That, or he still would love to play in the MLB. If you couldn’t tell, Tyler likes anything fishing, camping, hiking, and really anything to do with Baseball.

In high school, Tyler’s baseball team got to play at Coors Field for a game, where some of the Rockies players watched. He got to meet some of the players that were watching the game from their dugout, which made for a truly unforgettable experience and one he will remember forever.

The person that Tyler admires most is Gary Vaynerchuk because he uses his success as a way to give advice to people who are still figuring out what they want to do and he doesn’t hold back on what it takes to get there.

We are so happy to have Tyler as a part of the TEC Integration team!

I wouldn't say they're the cheapest in town, but again, they've been able to meet some pretty tight deadlines for us.
